Nagomi — 和 (harmony) — is an exclusive inn accepting only one group per day, created by renovating a traditional folk house into a space with a calm, modern Japanese atmosphere while preserving its original split-log beams and magnificent central pillar. We invite you to experience this thoughtfully designed retreat, where you can enjoy the changing scenery of the countryside throughout the seasons, the majestic Kirishima mountain range, and a breathtaking, star-filled night sky.
You have exclusive use of the entire property, allowing you to relax in complete privacy. With an outdoor barrel sauna also available, you can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy a special time of deep relaxation — or 'totonou' ('reset') — amidst magnificent nature.

You have exclusive use of the entire property, including the main house, the detached guest house, and the outdoor barrel sauna.
The Main House — 母屋omoya
Enjoy a stay in a space designed for comfort, featuring an open-plan living and dining area with high ceilings, a round table large enough for a crowd, and a kitchen counter crafted from a single, solid slab of wood. Large south-facing windows offer a constant view of the majestic Kirishima mountain range.
The Annex — 離れhanare
Located on the west side of the main building, the facility features a theater room fully equipped with a projector, as well as a second-floor multi-purpose hall that offers a commanding view of the stunning rural landscape below.
The Barrel Sauna — 樽taru
The barrel sauna and cold plunge, located outdoors on the northwest side of the property, offer a special, extraordinary experience where you can achieve a state of deep relaxation ('totonou') — while gazing out at the magnificent scenery. The cold plunge uses well water; enjoy the sensation of smooth water splashing over you and the feeling of the breeze sweeping across the countryside as you cool off in the open air. On clear nights, we also highly recommend a nighttime sauna session under a sky full of stars.
